VP of R&D, Fortress Information Security

Tony leads the Fortress Labs R&D team and designs many of the technical software supply chain solutions at Fortress Information Security. He has helped hundreds of companies with strategic and tactical approaches to solving their information and application security challenges. Most recently, Tony has been focused on the topic of software transparency and software bill of materials (SBOM), supporting many industry efforts such as the Idaho National Labs run SBOM PoC, active in NTIA and CISA working groups for SBOM and supporting a variety of other industry efforts focused on product security.

Having founded the Security B-Sides Orlando security conference in 2012, he is a mainstay of the Central Florida information security community. Tony is passionate about emerging technologies such as blockchain, zero knowledge proofs and confidential computing and is the project lead for the WASC/OWASP Web Application Firewall Evaluation Criteria (WAFEC) and the OWASP chapter leader and founder in Orlando, FL for over 10 years.
